Frank Aigbogun a seasoned journalist and co- founder of BusinessDay newspaper where he has been publisher since 2001. He commenced his journalism journey at the Guardian. Progressing to Vanguard at which he ascended to the role of editor for all newspaper’s titles. Frank’s career includes a tenure as the Lagos correspondent for the Associated Press (AP).

Frank first studied Mass Communication and is the immediate past president of the Lagos Business School’s alumni association. Mr. Aigbogun was a member of the vision 2010 committee, assigned by the government to formulate a long-term economic vision for Nigeria. Notably, he served as the alternate rapporteur for the sub-committee on competition and deregulation.

Mrs. Ijeoma Ude is the Executive Director of Sales and Marketing at BusinessDay. With a distinguished career spanning several years, she brings a rare combination of strategic insight and hands-on experience to her role. Ude leads efforts to grow sales, drive advertising revenue, and secure key sponsorships that fuel business expansion. She holds a Law degree from the University of Bradford, UK, and an MBA from the University of Chichester, UK. She also earned a degree in Business Management from the Metropolitan School of Business Management, UK. An alumna of the Lagos Business School, Ude is a member of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON).

Ololade Akinmurele is the Editor of BusinessDay, Nigeria’s leading business daily newspaper. He sets the editorial direction for the newsroom, ensuring that BusinessDay remains a benchmark for credible, data-driven, and solutions-oriented journalism. Akinmurele has nearly a decade of experience in media. Before becoming editor in October 2025, he served as deputy editor. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos. A Bloomberg Award-winning financial journalist, Akinmurele has also earned professional certifications from Citibank, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and the International Monetary Fund.

Linda Ochugbua a seasoned marketing and sales professional with over 13 years of experience, began her career at Ryden Oil and Gas in 2008. She earned a First-class honors MSC degree in Management from the University of Surrey and holds an Entrepreneurship certificate from Harvard Business School. Linda, an ERAC Ltd team lead alumna, played a pivotal role in BusinessDay Media Limited’s strategic digital transformation, enhancing revenue streams since joining in 2012. A respected panel speaker at global conferences, she engages in various media ventures, including an IGLive series, a weekly podcast, and a forthcoming show called “Linda’s Nuggets,” focusing on books, life issues, and business tips.

Queen Nkwocha heads the Advertising Department at BusinessDay. She is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with clients and driving advertising across print and digital platforms. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and has attended executive training programmes at the Lagos Business School (SMP 75), Texem, and Phillips Consulting, among others.

Sanni Ojireshe Mary is the Manager of Systems and Controls at BusinessDay. With over a decade of experience in audit, accounting, tax, and risk advisory, she ensures the company’s financial integrity and operational efficiency. She is a graduate of the University of Benin and a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).

Ifeoma Williams heads the Human Resources department at BusinessDay. She oversees employee recruitment, onboarding, and welfare, while ensuring smooth organisational operations. Williams has over a decade of experience in human resource management. She holds professional certifications from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and is pursuing certification with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Before transitioning into HR, she worked as a finance officer.
